the insufficient pastor

Welcome. I'm glad you've found my little corner of the blogosphere. If you stay around, you'll probably learn more about me than you want to know, but hopefully you will also find some encouragement along the way. To begin with, I'm just a Bill... an ordinary pastor, serving an average church here in the Ozark Hill Country. My (above-average) wife of 30+ years has been on this journey from the beginning, and I couldn't be more grateful. We've experienced a great deal of joy and heartache, failures and successes, in marriage, parenting, and pastoring. If any of it can encourage you, then I will consider this little endeavor worth the effort.

These reflections are born out of curiousity and devotion, but mostly from a place a brokenness as I am learning to embrace limitations and weakness as the raw material from which God's grace and sufficiency are mostly clearly seen and most powerfully experienced.
